I present to you my work for the contest. The contest was organized by the Motion Designers Community on Instagram with the support of Razer. CONTEST THEME: Enter the metaverse.

Idea

The main idea I wanted to show is not very bright, unlike the lighting of the devices from Razer.
I wanted to show that in the future, when many people will spend their time in virtual reality, one of the companies providing equipment or even software for it could be Razer. And despite all the benefits that virtual reality can give us, it can also become a big addiction.

For large corporations, the main goal will always be profit, so it will always try to attract you with its products. And if you start disconnecting from reality and prefer it only to the virtual reality that a certain company provides, then you can consider that the company will eat you up, chew you up and spit you out. In the same way, our main character, after visiting beautiful and mindblowing worlds, finds herself in a cage-room, where she is eaten by the main symbol of the company. This scene is very similar to Razer logo. Such a simple metaphor.

I would like to point out that I do not have a negative attitude towards the Razer brand, I just wanted to show my vision.

PROCESS

I thought for a long time whether to participate or not, because I start everything with an idea and its visualization in my head. Until I catch that, it's hard to start.
I spent about a week looking for an idea, watching different videos until I came across Taehoon Park's Dreaveler video. Thanks to him, I figured out how to show my idea.
The entire video was made in 12 days or 65 hours + rendering. There was not much time left before the deadline, so I had to strike a balance between complexity and simplicity. That's why I decided to make beautiful locations and a minimum of camera and character animations.
